I knew a guy who built one of those Cobra kit cars. The originals are way too expensive to own. Anyway, he built it as close to one of the originals as possible..

But he put a 5 speed transmission in for the OD feature at highway speeds.

He took me for a ride, and the entire time, my back was cemented against the back of the seat. I was frozen there and couldn't move from the G forces. I can just imagine what jet fighter pilots must feel!

It made my 427 Camaro feel like a tinkertoy!

Since I was a Youngster I didn't feel comfy asking my friends dad...what was the price tag for the whole thing?

Given the quality shit you still need to buy, I imagine it had to compare with a new mid teir sports car price wise.
