Just saw 'The Hangover'. It was Hilarious. I thought Zach Galifianakis really stole the movie.

Agreed. That movie was funny as hell, so glad I saw it instead of LOTL. I personally thought Ed Helms was the best in this movie. That part where he was talking about his girlfriend in that gas station had me in tears. Funny thing is, I was like the only person laughing at that scene, which made absolutely no sense cuz it was friggin hysterical.

Re:OT: Movie talk

Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have announced plans to write and direct a third Harold & Kumar film, Greg Shapiro will return as producer with Kal Penn and John Cho expected to return in their title roles.[3][4] In April 2009, Kal Penn accepted the position of Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison in the Obama administration; when asked if his new job would mean no more Harold and Kumar films, he said "That's probably true".[5]

Despite Penn's statement, a new film entitled A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas was announced on May 7, 2009, for release on November 5, 2010. It is unconfirmed whether Penn's role as Kumar will be recast to another actor, or he himself will return.[

Re:OT: Movie talk

Just saw "The Hangover" and "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past".

The hangover was really funny. I didn't think it was quite as good as most people seem to think it was, but it was still really good. I doubt I could watch it again though and really get a kick out of it.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past was about what you'd expect. It was a romantic comedy that felt pretty similar to a dozen other romantic comedies. It was an okay date movie to see, but I definitely wouldn't go see it if you weren't looking for a movie to see with your significant other. Still it wasn't bad as I thought it would be, and it had it's moments.

I agree about Zach, he was awesome in the movie and really carried it.

The hangover was hilarious! Anyone else really looking forward to the new transformers movie? Even if your not a fan of the first one- watching Megan Fox for over an hour makes it all worth while.

If it was just 2hours of Megan Fox bent over a chopper working the crank shaft, then I'd probably enjoy it. Unfortunately it's got Shia LeDrunk in it, Michael Bay directing, & was probably written by a 10yr old like the first film was.

Skip Transformers & see Public Enemies. That's going to be the best movie of the summer, hands down. Hell I would probably see G-Force before I see the product placement pukefest that will be Transformers 2.

Am i the only one that didnt like the hangover?

dont get me wrong, the story is great and mike tyson was brilliant. but i didnt really laugh that much. the dialogue was horrible in my opinion. how many times do they have to repeat the fact that they remember nothing, and its all because alan got roofies from a guy that told him it was ecstasy. they must have went over that a dozen times during the movie (at least thats what it felt like). i understand they had to explain it over again to whoever they ran into, but damn. the audience knows whats going on, couldnt you have written it differently?

the situations they got stuck in were damn hilarious. there was just something about this movie that i didnt like

Re:OT: Movie talk

Watched Terminator Salvation last week with low expectations and I still came out feeling dirty for sitting throughout the entire movie. It was just horrid all round. Don't even want to get into explaining why I felt this way, but I just wish that Hollywood would just allow some of the original scripts writers to actually grow and show their stuff as opposed to just trying to recycle the same stories, concepts over and over again.

I was so disgusted by the movie, I had to go home and watch a movie I hadn't watched in a very long time 'Once upon a time in the West' - one of the truly great, if not the best Western movie of all time. I'm not even old, but it's hard not to appreciate that movie if you have the patience to watch a classic western style movie. It's just fantastic.

During Salvation I saw the trailer of 'Public Enemies' and hmm, I don't know didn't seem to look that great. A movie I've been eager to watch ever since I read that Mann, and Depp were signed on for the movie a few years back, but the first trailer left me a little iffy about how the movie may be like. I really wish that Mann would finally stop his fascination of wanting to film his movies with handhelds. It kind of worked for 'Miami Vice' and maybe even for 'Collateral' in a way, but for a period piece that could be a great movie, I wish he didn't use a handheld style again.

Your not serious about her thumbs are you. All she has to do is put some tips on and you cant even tell. I would do so many bad things to her.

I went to go see the taking of Pelam 1 2 3 yesterday night and I really enjoyed it. Travoltas character was an insane genious and John portrayed it well. Denzel was solid as always. I wish there was more action like shooting wise but it will was amazing. It was amazing because I live in NY and cant believe that they made this movie here. Its always so chaotic so they did a great job. Two of the actors from Anger Management were in the movie, the italian guy with the anger and something Guzman I think.

I recently saw the Proposal with my wife. It was more or less exactly like you'd expect. My wife loved it, because she likes romantic comedies. I thought it was okay. Very formulaic. It's not that bad a date movie, but nothing special for sure.

I want to see that because I think Sandra is beautiful and I love Betty White, i think she has been funny in everything she has done (golden girls, 70s show, My wife and kids, etc.)

P.S. Doug how was the sandra nude scene? anything good?
