Yes. Emery did fuck us royally. But we are now rising up from the ashes and started all over. We have a whole new thing going on for the Bears. The staff etc is overhauled and they will NOT screw around. This is a rebuild! Regardless of how many people want to bash the Bears for being sucky and ESPN and announcers say it, it does not matter. We'll have the last laugh in a couple years. Maybe even as soon as next. I already am seeing signs of promise from these guys. Fox and company will NOT dick around. They are not afraid to bench people if they aren't doing their job.
I saw a lot of positives. A lot of the times you can't always just look at the score in football. Yes, winning is a great thing. But if everyone isn't on track or something happens you lose. It's much better and more thrilling to look for good signs so you keep it alive! Look at individual players and see their performance. Whether they are exceeding, plateauing or getting worse. If they are exceeding, keep em in. Plateauing, keep an eye on em. getting worse? Bench their ass right now for a younger guy.
Jay has excelled this year already more than the previous 3 because of Gase's system. I think we would be really stupid to get rid of Cutler. With a lot of Bear fans we get rid of him, it will just be somebody else. That's how most people are here. They always find a scapegoat. First it was Melton, then it was Wright, then it was Conte, then it was Jennings etc the list goes on and on. I GUARANTEE YOU if Rodgers came here in 2005, he would be the exact same way Cutler is. Bashed around, not coached properly for a whole 5 years and then he's expected to suddenly be an elite quarterback when he has gotten gashed around with different coordinators and coaches because the bears organization couldn't make up their damn minds on what they wanted for all those years. He's gotten shafted in every way shape and form and the fans are taking it out on him complaining and whining he's not the right guy. Well when somebody fucks you over time and time again, how the hell is it that person's fault?
I believe the team will get better with time. There are more positives than negatives and there are some that only see "oh they lost again? they suck balls". You cant think like that. It's illogical and bad character. So we only like winners? hmm that's a really shit attitude to have. But that's most people. They love you when you win, they hate you when you lose. You are a 100 percent complete scum of the earth if you lose. If you win yeah YEAH you are suddenly awesome all those people that didnt watch you when your team was thrashed around and rebuilding suddenly come out and support you! because you WON. Don't mind the shit they just talked to you for months or years on end. Just be glad those "fans" come out and support you the second you do something good. But don't do something bad now, or else they'll tell you to kill yourself
The Bears are in a phase. They are rebuilding and Fox is evaluating the players and the team to see what the best approach is to take. Fangio and Gase are doing that as well. If they don't see an improvement? I think they will can some guys and tell them to get lost. Like Jennings. You don't fit it? Get out. We want to win!
I understand the NEEDING and WANTING to win everything and win it all in the end! But in order to get there sometimes you have to go through shit to come out clean on the other side. Even though you crawl through the shit, there are STILL positives within that. No matter how low down you get, there is always a positive in something.
The Chicago Bears need true fans right now that don't talk smack, that don't put them down or boo them while they are playing. Because yes, booing seriously helps a person play better. People really need to mature a lot more and see what their actions do. They needs our support right now! and I for one don't give a DAMN what other people say about the Bears. 95 percent of people I talk to act like they aren't even fans and are very down upon them. But suddenly, when they start doing better OH MY GOD they will be the FIRST ONES in line at sports authority to get that Bears jersey, hat, socks you name it! That is despicable! Those are NOT true fans and that is called a bandwagon fan. Fairweather plain and simple.
THE BEARS NEED OUR SUPPORT AND I INTEND TO BE THERE THROUGH THICK AND THIN JUST LIKE I'VE ALWAYS DONE!!
