My biggest fear isn't the snow per se. It's losing power with these ridiculous winds we're going to have (actually already have down here in Champaign). If we lose power it might be many days before they can get out to fix them.

I just pulled out all my camping stuff just in case.

Yea Champaign is a *****. Flat and nothing there to stop the wind. It's always bad in storms going down 57 from there to Effingham.

Heavy snow isn't supposed to hit wester suburbs and the city until 5:00PM... with the worst snow being 9PM - 5AM.

Hawks will not get out of Columbus tonight either. They are staying over.

My guess is that they will be there for several days unless this storm does not reach its expectations.

Maybe they will divert the charter to Rockford and bus them out. Rockford airport will probably get mobbed

with the shutting down of OHare and Midway.

They're likely going to fly straight to Vancouver from Columbus.

Why the **** did they cancel the Blues game? St. Louis didn't even get ANY snow... they got about an inch of sleet.

They just did a "live from" St. Louis on the weather channel and within 25 miles of downtown St. Louis they're pretty much in the clear and only got a dusting of sleet.

In 03 I went to a game in the middle of a snow storm, there was like 300 people there max.
