I don't have an issue with Westbrook personally, but i have to be harsh toward management thinking he is an answer to this teams needs. He may be the worst fit out of anyone in the entire NBA - Ball dominant, bad shooter, poor defense, turnover prone.
He has heart which we could use but it's made null by his inefficiency. I suppose there is some entertainment value to bringing him on and seeing just how bad someone can construct a team.

I am excited for the playoffs. I think we are an awkward team to play against and Lavine will raise his level.
Because we have talent distribution we are particularly dangerous to teams missing a key player and it seems playoffs always come down to health in recent times.
We have been good against quality teams.

Westbrook has said he wants to go to the Clippers or Miami Heat. Never has mentioned the Bulls once. Billy Donovan saying that he wants Russell on the Bulls is meaningless. And as some others have implied here, even if the Bulls had Westbrook, they still not close to winning anything.
The East is already settled. 2 teams are very good(Boston and Philly) 1 team is next level and going to win it.

I doubt he’s coming here. Losing to the magic at home and a 4 game losing skid when the team is “fighting” for a playoff spot isn’t a good selling point.

I view our trade deadline as a wasted season if we don't get Westbrook.
LAC might be 1, for convenience, but I got to think Bulls are in consideration with OKC connections.

I would think any fringe playoff team is interested if he was willing to play a secondary 6th man roll.
