Seriously who cares who is batting where when half of the lineup probably won't be on the roster next season? Rizzo and Castro are hitting where they are supposed to be, and the rest who gives a ****.

I think it's at least good that Soriano is backing up Rizzo and Soto isn't hitting last.

Perhaps it shows a lack of strategic management on the part of Sveum. You still have to put out the best possible lineup as often as possible. This... even with this personnel... isn't close to it. I've actually liked Sveum for the most part this year. Thought he ran a good camp, and certain players have shown a ton of improvement in many ways. However, he does have issues in making lineups... and he has some issues with handling his pen. I've been hoping he'd improve in these areas during this season, as you do expect rookie mistakes. So far... he's been a disappointment in this regard.

I agree with 2-seam. Even though 6 of the 8 guys prolly wont matter in 2 yrs+ still the fact why they letting Valbuena LH play against a LH today when you have a guy like Reedd who hits LH very well

Wouldn't be shocked to learn that Reed has an achy back that isn't being reported.

Don't stretch my back, my achy-breaky back. I just don't think I wanna play. Cuz if I stretch my back, my achy-breaky back, you just might release me any day.
