I wanted the guy from Idaho but not that guy from Idaho
Not me. I said many times he was one of the few guys I hoped the Bears would take at 10. He’s going to be a monster.Kenneth Grant went earlier than most thought.
The Bears didnt have the worst offense in the league. Not sure where you read your stats from.
He absolutely will. Kmet will continue to be the inline blocker and Loveland will get plenty of targets in Johnson’s offense.Actually he probably won’t. TEs usually aren’t.
Lol Kmet is the No 2 TE now. He will block/chip and catch checkdowns. Loveland is the Laporta type. But he barely targeted the #2 tight ends. 16 targets
They will cut him next year with no guaranteed moneyDoes Kmet still have two years left on his contract?
You’re right. I always saw Loveland as a top 5 pick EVERYWHEREI never saw Loveland as a top 10 pick ANYWHERE
Can he change, now.But he barely targeted the #2 tight ends. 16 targets
I hope so. I'll reserve judgment for now. With defenses having to deal with Rome and DJ on the outsides, Loveland could feast over the middle. So much anger over the Bears adding another playmaker to the worst offense in the NFL. It's not Warren but TE was a need and Loveland will be an impact player year 1.
Caleb was one of the worst throwing over the middle of the field. Maybe this changes that. The bears offense was also mostly terrible because of the quarterback.
Not sure how a tight end helps the qb when Caleb didn’t even look at his tight end last year
How does that make the pick any less stupid?Yall wanted Ben Johnson so suck it up buttercup.
Yeah a few have said that the last couple of months. Warren was not TE #1 on almost half of team's boards as some have said. One of the pundits called it out weeks ago that Loveland was ranked the #1 TE on the Bears board
Bears needed a slot and he'll fill that while keeping D's unable to stack run or pass.Loveland makes more sense for the Bears than Warren but **** man, im gonna need to do a ton of mental gymanstics to talk myself into liking this one.
One thing that needs to be said is that this is 100% a Ben Johnson pick.
The Bears have two huge TE that can block and catch. That helps the overall offense. It's just time for CCS to stop believing that only one TE was needed and that it ever made any sense to draft a rotational trench player with a premium pick.I hope so. I'll reserve judgment for now. With defenses having to deal with Rome and DJ on the outsides, Loveland could feast over the middle.
No need for another WR now so hopefully we can find some quality trenches and a RB later.
This.Bears needed a slot and he'll fill that while keeping D's unable to stack run or pass.
Now find a path to Nolen.
Caleb was one of the worst throwing over the middle of the field. Maybe this changes that.
So go with a rotational TE player with a premium pick? LOLThe Bears have two huge TE that can block and catch. That helps the overall offense. It's just time for CCS to stop believing that only one TE was needed and that it ever made any sense to draft a rotational trench player with a premium pick.
