**** that. Oasis were the shit!
Their first album had some good songs on it.

LOL. I completely forgot about Soundgarden. Speaking of heroin sound, I always liked STP as well. I didn't mind Pearl Jam, but there's something about Eddie Vedder that makes me want to stand in a bucket of water and punch my tv screen while sticking my fingers in an electrical socket.
I do wish Son Volt woulda caught on
jay farrar's still doing stuff. I still listen to tear-stained eye, drown, mystifies me, their cover of rex's blues... damn I need to dig them out
You're right, he was planted by the devil to test our faith.
Daft Monk.
The RR HOF is a JOKE.
Such stellar artists as The Beastie Boys and Alice Cooper are inducted...while Alan Parsons and the Moody Blues are omitted.
Are you kidding me?.

If you ever get a chance, good documentary.
Ha! I'm listening to Rex's Blues right now
So Nirvana was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They only had 3 albums but I still think they are deserving and should have been inducted years ago. One of the most influential bands of the '90s and still relevant all these years later. They invented a genre of rock music that they personally took from the undergrounds of Washington to the mainstream. It's a shame that Kurt Cobain died so young... could have been the next John Lennon.
That's a good cover but still no Townes Van Zandt.
It is possible to like both versions, ya taint
Progressive artists get screwed all the time: Jethro Tull, Yes, Deep Purple, ELO, STYX, etc.
Groups like Rush & Genesis just got in after years of fan pressure.
Pink Floyd is the only one that I can think of that didn't have to wait forever. I think it was 3 or 4 years after they were elilgible... which even that is ridiculous considering Dark Side of the Moon was on the charts for over 14 years straight.
As you said, the RR HOF is a joke.
It is possible to like both versions, ya taint
Grunge Rock.Wut?They invented a genre of rock music
