2nd round OL should start immediately and be good. Just my opinion.

People keep saying that Whitehead started out at the enter as a rookie, so Daniels should be able to do it too.
But that assumes that those two offenses are close to the same in difficulty for a rookie to pick up.

I don't care if an OL is picked in 1, if he's not ready but picked with the thought of being an all pro in the future, that's fine with me. I hope our GM is looking for a decade of top production as opposed to just being able to start year one. I understand that early picks should bring more to the table but sometimes they are young like Daniels or coming off back surgery like Gronkowski. If he doesn't start the season, he probably finishes it and stays there for a decade. Nothing wrong with that.

Anyone know if he elaborated? Top of mind, I'm thinking:
-What does "may not" mean?
-Physically ready in what sense?
-Is this just a feeling he's got, or did someone with the Bears tell him this?

That's why I posted it. Most people here like the way he's been playing. Was wondering if BS? Grasu got mauled from day 1. Not sure Ive seen that with Daniels but admittedly I haven't paid that much attention.

Daniels can't even legally but a beer until 9/13 so maybe that's what he means. He's young, but coming from a program like Iowa, I'm sure he is more than adequate to start day 1.

Maybe they are still building up his strength to be able to play guard. Kinda makes sense, since Nagy still hasn’t given Daniels a snap at guard in preseason and that’s probably his most likely playing position.

True story... I baby sat kate upton a couple time when she was like around 10 or some shit. It was only in like maybe the last 3 years that I realized it was the same person. I still see her around every now and then.

The above poster is absolutely correct...whiteass continues to struggle....just as he has done since attempting to play center. Wake up and put a competent C (daniels) in there!
