My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Poona Ford and Yannick need to be signed. They would be a solid upgrade, and then draft a young stud pass rusher or 2 in the top 65. I also wouldn't mind Frank Clark but he probably signs with a contender for a discount.

Lmao. Has it ever occurred to you that some of those players suck and actually produced less than what he did sign? Meatballs
You're right. The tackle and center we signed to protect Fields are much better than the guys I have listed.

Breese seems like a bust id rather get a good DB like Devon Witherspoon or Christian Gonzalez.
Why don’t you like Bresee? I absolutely love the kid. Unlike Carter, he had tremendous character and is beloved by his teammates & coaches. We’re talking about a kid who has faced a tremendous amount of adversity, with the tragic death of his little sister and dealing with a kidney infection, but he used his love for the game to push through. That sounds exactly like the type of character the Bears look for. That adversity was a major factor in limiting his production, but when you watch his tape, his impact jumps out at you.

He’s one of the bigger and most athletic DT in this draft class, posting the 2nd best 10-yard split & improved his bench numbers at his pro-day to 28 reps. His teammates nicknamed him the HULK because of his freakish movement ability and strength.

The only knock I have on him is his health - he tore his ACL 2 years ago and had shoulder surgery. This is a legitimate concern, but his combine shows he’s still a great athlete.

The tackle that can’t run block and therefore doesn’t fit the scheme. And the Center that made it clear that he wanted to stay in Cleveland and didn’t take calls from other teams(per Profootballrumors.com). You don’t think things thru do you? I’d much rather have C Schmitz, Wypler in the draft over paying for merely good C’s.

Meatballs.

The issue is that just because these players are draft eligible does not immediately place them onto the bears roster

I'm with you on Ford, but a big NO to Yannick. I am in Minneapolis. They traded a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Yannick and after about 6 games sent him to another team for little to nothing just to get rid of him. He is not a team player and refuses to play within a system. He doesn't respect his assignment and doesn't secure the edge. People were running successfully on him like crazy. All he wants to do is his own thing.

There were several DL and OL players. Unfortunately I always knew Payne would never make it, but dremont went for much less than initally advertised. Poles could have front loaded a contract and signed him.

Mcglinchey was not that expensive. Same could be said for his contract.

Nope instead he handed a record breaking contract to an ILB. Even though he preached premium positions (yes I know his position is important in flus D).

Because clearly he isn't trying to waste his cap space on guys who are just above replacement level players.

McGlinchey is meh, better than what we have but not better than drafting Paris or Skoronski

Jones, I never heard of until CCS had a wetdream about signing him.

Walker produced more and graded out higher than Dre’Mont and will play the same position in this scheme. You may now formally exit this conversation dipshit.

I’m sorry but this rhetoric is just tired and false. No GM should go into the draft at pick 9 and base their ENTIRE free agency around getting a specific player. It’s just dumb. You can’t control who will be there.

I agree mcglinchey is mehh but Borom is straight ass.

Poles did nothing in FA so he could force the #9 pick to be a RT???? Is this serious?

I mean I wanted Dre'mont too, but gonna admit I had no idea who the **** he was about 2 weeks ago.

People just crying cause poles didnt spend all 100m in the first couple days of free agency.

He still needs plenty of cash to re-sign our homegrown players who have potential(Claypool, Mooney, Kmet, Tev, Jaylon, etc)

Yeah I'm mean instead waste the money on replacement level players like PJ Walker and Travis Homer.

OK, and if the plan is to move tev to Right tackle and draft a center in the 2nd, what then?

Considering Tev is a better lineman than McGlinchey that would be a win.

No. I’m ‘crying’ because the weakest positions on the team going into FA were at DL, C, RT.

Bears still need DL, C, and an RT.

Yes I understand the draft is still coming but you can’t go into a draft expecting to get 4 day 1 starters. It’s foolish.

I feel bad that you are polish cause you bring a bad reputation to all of us here

PJ Walker and Travis Homer are making about league minimum, a bit above.

Lets freak out over depth pieces. Makes cents!
