Yeah I'm mean instead waste the money on replacement level players like PJ Walker and Travis Homer.
It is you who wants to get replacement level players as Bears starters. Poles is bringing in replacement level players as backups and special teamers.

I’d rather see a 6 or 7 win Chicago Bears team next season instead of a fluke 9 or 10win season.

Bears and long term success has rarely gone together since the 80’s.

STFU M8. DA Bears r winning the Superbowl next year. AND they will still have the #1 pick in the draft via Carolina too.

So what does that say about Chicago?
Script says ....Scene: cut to a cold blustery stadium, breathe visible like a pillowy fog exiting from frozen snot encrusted faces, defenders dig their toes into the loose turf like horses running on a muddy track, while on the sideline the squinting mid-level manager looking coach screams HITS repeatedly as the players prepare for the next play...

This is a great debate on the Rodgers compensation. I agree with Keyshawn that the Jets should not give up the 13th pick in the draft. But this is a classic example of paying a premium to get what you want now. The Packers don't have to trade Rodgers for several months from a cap perspective. The Jets don't have to have Rodgers for OTAs per se but they do run the risk of the Packers finding another team willing to trade with. But is Rodgers worth a 1st round pick at 40 years old when he may only play 1 more year? Ofcourse not. But how bad do you want him now vs in July?

I really don’t see another team entering the Aaron Rodgers market but if they do, Jets should absolutely walk away.

Every time I hear about Braxton Jones and being a "potential star" I am reminded of him being bull-rushed right into Justin Fields lap, and I am thinking, WTF?
Yes. It’s too bad he is going into second year as a fifth round pick and can not bulk and get stronger. Definitely time to give up and look elsewhere for a LT

And douchebags like you eat it up and continue to go the damn games.

Freezing your ass of to watch another losing effort and self justify "next year", over and over till you die from choaking down too many beers and Polish sausages...

There is almost no risk of the Packers finding another team. It's either the Jets or they're fucked. They lost a bunch of leverage and essentially will have to take what they can get. I don't think the Jets give anything higher than a 2nd + lower draft picks and cap relief.

It would have to be a team that thinks they can win a Championship this year and needs a QB.

Jets
Patriots MAYBE?
Ravens if they lose Lamar?

Imagine Belichik and Aaron on the sidelines when the offense is struggling.
But yea, it would have to be a team that has some delusional superbowl aspirations.

Either assure us that 3 LTs are going to be drafted from 1 to 8 or shut the hell up.

Chances are high that all three LT prospects will be on the board, chances are even higher that two of the three top LT prospects will be on the board and chances are near 100% that at least one will be available.

Intelligent posters understand that Poles may draft one of the top 3 LT prospects and move him to play at RT but with the understanding that the prospect could end up at LT if injury or another unexpected event happened.

Sadly, there are many posters who are not intelligent enough to not make the intellectual leap necessary to understand.
Poles said he likes Braxton, but is not against bringing in competition. So if he drafts a LT at 9 best believe he and Braxton will compete. This line is not directed at you, but I explained to another poster that competition may be brought in and Poles didn't shy away from that. Everyone's a genius on here and have never worked in a front office, but their opinion matters most. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

No. I’m ‘crying’ because the weakest positions on the team going into FA were at DL, C, RT.

Bears still need DL, C, and an RT.

Yes I understand the draft is still coming but you can’t go into a draft expecting to get 4 day 1 starters. It’s foolish.

LB was just as bad. Now it’s a team strength.

That's cool. I just think that Brax should (and probably is) penciled in at one of the tackle spots. If you draft Paris or Jones and want to immediately install them in at LT then swing Brax to the right and you're set.

5'11" Poona Ford and 6'2" Ngakoue?

I could see Poles taking a look at Ngakoue as his production warrants deviating from the prototype, but Poles has been pretty disciplined in his mandate for speed, length, and value, much to CCS's chagrin.

Not sure how many times this has to happen before CCS stops chasing the shiny object.

Right... I mean, I don't think you're breaking the bank for these guys (maybe Yannick? But kinda doubt it). Who would you rather sign at this moment, if you're being honest? The obvious answer long term is drafting someone, but this team needs players.

This is incredibly intelligent posting my IQ is not high to comprehend most of it.

Imagine getting so angry with criticism of the NFL’s worst team that you have to resort to personal insults about a stranger on the internet!

These insults made me realize that your point of view is indeed superior intellectually than mine. Thank you.

Btw, did you ever find that third driver that contributed to the car crash deaths?
Seeing that Carter did not directly contribute to the car crash, it would be real hard for me to find the third, now wouldn't it?

As for me, I was wrong. It seems that there was only smoke about an additional car, including the name of some other football player who had gotten in trouble for racing the week before. I took that and stuff like someone calmly telling Carter to leave on the 911 call as potentially coming from a third car.

My bad. I guess I have to own up to that. I would love to know if the person who made the 911 call was one of the two people who were in the car but didn't die. That would probably answer my question if it were one of them.
