So you don’t have factual statistic evidence as usual?
And you are living in denial, as usual.
Braxton Jones is not good.

But, hey, I had this argument with Bears fans last year about their O-line and how bad it was going to suck. Pretty much got the same lame ass responses as your giving me now.

then guess what happened?

They sucked!!

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
the eye test clearly shows Jones is not great at pass blocking.
Do you want to watch the video of Houston sack Fields again to job your memory.
As for Sewel, and his "rookie grades" your forgetting he spent all of TC at right tackle,, then a week prior to the start of the season got shifted to LT do to an injury. Then, later in the season, moved back to RT.

Braxton Jones is not a starter on 85% of NFL rosters.
The end.

Sure. I'm sure your word goes for every team in the NFL

You're a fucking moron ?

Poles said he likes Braxton, but is not against bringing in competition. So if he drafts a LT at 9 best believe he and Braxton will compete. This line is not directed at you, but I explained to another poster that competition may be brought in and Poles didn't shy away from that. Everyone's a genius on here and have never worked in a front office, but their opinion matters most. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
It's the lying season. Probably because he plans on drafting DL at 9.??? I take it all with a grain right now.

5'11" Poona Ford and 6'2" Ngakoue?

I could see Poles taking a look at Ngakoue as his production warrants deviating from the prototype, but Poles has been pretty disciplined in his mandate for speed, length, and value, much to CCS's chagrin.

Not sure how many times this has to happen before CCS stops chasing the shiny object.

I just like the name Poona...............but would take Robinson over him. Ngakoue would be the exception due to his pass rush ability, though Poles will also look to the draft for a rookie edge rusher in the first two rounds.

Are you disputing anything I said or just crying like a biased Lions fan?
In his mind, 1 play is 100% indicative of the entire year.

Braxton Jones wouldn't be a starter on 85% of NFL teams is a moronic statement. Considering he graded out better than most tackles drafted in front of him and how much demand their is for tackles. You have zero clue what you're talking about
He's tied for 7th in sacks allowed.
Sewel is tied for 61st

That’s of one play.
I would like to see the statistical evidence that you speak of.
Tied for 7th in sacks allowed, would be higher if not for JF running abilities.
Considering the Bears don't pass the ball that often, that is actually pretty alarming.

Since you want to go down memory lane... Sounds like Sewell knows he doesn't have what it takes to play the toughest position.

PENEI SEWELL
The Detroit Lions expected there would be growing pains for rookie offensive lineman Penei Sewell.
"I hold him to high standards, too," Lions head coach Dan Campbell said, following the Lions' loss to the Ravens. "I hold that whole group to high standards. So, I expect more. There's some things that got on the edge a little bit, but he'll be better for it."
Unfortunately, his performance against the Chicago Bears was not that much better.
In fact, it was worse.
Detroit's No. 7 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft was badly beaten by the Bears' Robert Quinn, resulting in a strip-sack inside the red zone.
On the afternoon, Sewell gave up a total of two sacks and seven pressures.
According to MLive, "It’s been rough, those inside moves are hammering him, and Sewell has plummeted out of the top 50 players at the position entirely according to PFF. In fact, he’s been worse than fill-in right tackle Matt Nelson."
While the timing of Taylor Decker's return is uncertain at this point, one thing has become clear: Sewell will be returning to play right tackle when the veteran does end up returning.
"I want him back. Whatever that looks like, and I think that’ll be him being on the left and me back on the right," Sewell told reporters last week. "And it’ll just make our line so much more better. He’s already a big name in this league. He’s already established himself, and I’ve got to do the same."
