You clearly haven’t been paying attention. Everyone knows we’re on a youth movement and the vast majority approves whole heartedly.

That doesn’t mean you can’t have a couple 30 year olds on the team.
On a 1 year deal? Sure, but somebody will give Bojack a 3-4 year deal if he plays well this year and that team shouldn't be the Bears.

He’s under contract this year and the next so not sure why you’re talking about extending him now when the guy who originally brought it up was talking about cutting him next year.

Thielen is done putting up big numbers. It’s a good singing compared to Wrs they had. But not a Wr who will help showcase a rookie.
Only Bears fans have this bizarre complex where they prioritize quarterback success over team success.

Carolina didn't even give up that much draft capital to get first overall, in their minds they'll just draft another DJ Moore with one of the picks they didn't spend moving up.

Agreed. I never hear that kind of stuff from the professionals who cover the league.

Oh wait...

You mean the best teams in the league haven't gone out of their way to build for their qbs? I know buffalo didn't get Allen a go to wr while he was developing. The eagles certainly didn't do that for hurts either. Tua never got any weapons. Qbs don't need weapons.

Resource management is critical. When you see a guy like Brisker come in as a 2nd rounder and play quite well it means you shouldn’t have to allocate 17-20 million in cap hit to your other safety. The thought of extending EJax to lower his cap hit on a multi-year deal in the wrong side of 30 is also a no-no. Hopefully he plays well and maybe you trade him like Quinn middle of the season and eat some money to get a pick in 2024.

All your points are totally correct, if this was bizzaro world.

Every team has some overpaid players to fill a roster with some impact players. You don't pay them all but you don't discard them all either.

Literally no one has suggested this.

You will never convince this fanbase that it's time to move on & get younger. They all want to pay guys top 5 money into their 40s and then the moment they start showing their age they become public enemy #1.
Pretty much everybody here has been on board with getting younger and not signing older players
