Pretty soon people are gonna tell us you don’t need a WR either since KC won it with a rookie in Skyy, MVS, JuJu and a castoff from NY. Not saying we shouldn’t invest in the line but I wish sports media would stop using KC and their unicorn QB as an example.QB is no. 1. No. 2 is Oline to make sure they protect no. 1. RBs don’t win championships, QBs do.
Look at Kansas City They just won a SB with a late round RB, what they learned in SB loss to TB is to invest in O-line. They did with Brown, Humphrey and Thuney. Sent a 1st to ravens for Brown, drafted Humphrey in 2nd round, and paid thuney $80 mil for 5 years. Now they paid Taylor $20 mil a year to replace Brown. Invest in Oline.
Craig Gabriel melted down over this yet?
Paywall. Cliff notes appreciated for anyone with subscription
Nice UDFA pickup.
No. The gap between BR and Gibbs can be measured in astronomical units. The fact that we just need a RT and C means that we can easily find those positions in the 2nd.There is a bigger gap in talent between in ots than rbs. It all the way at 9 if no trade down.

Well that really changes things for me from T.Spears or D.Achane to give me D.Achane.
Now now…. Just because Maurice Jones-Drew has Gibbs as his #1 RB doesn’t mean Bijan is THAT far behind Gibbs.
