So:

1. you are saying my evaluation skills are defensible. He can play.

2. NFL GMs have no common sense.
I'm drafting him in our situation, then telling him to talk to his financial advisor and giving him paperwork to take a year off and enter the NBA draft. "Go play for whatever G league team wants to develop you." Your NFL contract will be here. Have fun.

I've seen him play basketball ball. He didn't play at Ohio State for a bigger reason than football.

That's probably the most physical college basketball team in the nation, so it says something if they couldn't use him.

Probably the case that to get drafted in the first a C has to be pretty much a sure thing given the positional value or lack thereof.

The point is it doesn't appear the play is for him to play at 220-225 as the article you linked said he wants to be around 200.

My point is the more muscle and weight he can put on......the better chance of absorbing shots and not getting injured.
We'll see what the Panther trainers think and how they respond.

I'm not advocating "extremely muscle bound". I'm saying just enough to absorb hits without getting injured easily.

I get that, just think on his frame 20 lbs or so is quite a bit of

the key is ya want him strong and built up enough to not get injured easily. We'll see what the Panther trainers think.
Qb's get hit a lot after the play. I've heard of DC's telling defenders to slip a shot in on the Qb.

he actually linked his source which was si.com

nice try though

• I had one exec from another team praising the Browns’ Day 3 haul on the strength of UCLA QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson and two Ohio State linemen. Fourth-rounder Dawand Jones’s predraft process went as sideways as possible (constant weight questions, handling of the Senior Bowl and pro day, telling teams his dream was to play in the NBA, not the NFL), but the fourth round was a good place to bet on his immense talent. And sixth-round center Luke Wypler probably made a mistake leaving school early, but a lot of folks felt like with another year, he’d have been a Day 2 pick, so he’s got a shot to develop, too.

Yes I know that is your point. My point is it doesn't seem like Young or the Texans think getting him to 225 is feasible. We shall see.

I reckon his fall had much, much, much more to do with the "constant weight questions and handling of the Senior Bowl and pro day" than it had to do with saying he wanted to play in the NBA.

You should prepare for the fact that he isn’t gonna sign either of them.
No prep needed. He has to spend a bit more money and I truly doubt he’s not bringing a another veteran edge into the mix. I don’t expect any huge commitment, but someone on a one or two year deal.

At least 1 of those 2 is going to breakout this year, book it.
BOOK-IT.png
Unclear on where to book it and this was the first google result so yeah. Do you book it through an online portal? A hotel or restaurant reservation? It can't be a sportsbook because we don't use "BOOK IT" that way. I'm doubting you're referring to 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time WCW Champion BOOKER T (now can you dig that?!). Where do you BOOK IT?

thats an odd thing to say when interviewing with an nfl team
