This was posed by a fantasy dude so that's the lens that we're talking about.

The Fields/Allen year 3 comp is actually really good from a fantasy perspective - Allen was QB7 in fantasy in year 2 with crap around him and QB1 the next two years when Diggs arrived. Last year Fields was QB6 with crap around him and right now is getting drafted as QB6 despite having major weapon upgrades at both WR and TE.

Dunno what Moore's ceiling is but IMO from a fantasy perspective, I wouldn't expect him to have a Diggs like season next year just because he's in a fairly crowded situation whereas Diggs came to an empty WR room.

I like poles and the way he’s building this team but let’s not pretend his trades have been mostly him getting it in the booty hole.

The trade with the panthers was spot on the rest of the trades thus far have been him getting fleeced. Not terribly fleeced like pace trading up for gems like Anthony Miller and trevis Gipson, but the value is less than. Hopefully he’ll learn as he grows in this role.
In a year in which R Quinn would have done the Bears no good, he traded him for a 4th and Quinn was flat out awful for Philly.

He got a free 4th for trading from 9 to 10 (and saved a little $ in the process, though not likely a significant amount.)

So when you mention trades, plural in which he has been fleeced, can you tell us what those were?

Obviously you will say Claypool. Are you considering dumping Mack's salary and successfully getting the #1 pick in the process an example of him getting fleeced?

What other trades am I missing?

The inch shorter is less of a concern than the complete lack of girth. His arms and legs are pencil thin. Not sure how any team meetin him wouldn't be shocked by his frailty. He makes RGIII look thick. He won't last to a second contract.
Well, according to @run and shoot he can "easily" put on 35 pounds over his college playing weight of 190, and play at 225.

225!

He will look like a short version of Jared Lorenzen, the hefty lefty from Kentucky. (RIP)

“The Chicago Bears had a successful 2023 NFL draft. Adding a first-round offensive tackle, a cover cornerback and beef along the defensive line on Day 2, and a potential starting running back and speedy receiver on Day 3 adds up to a rookie class that will play a significant amount of snaps next season.

According to ESPN NFL analyst Matt Bowen, those snaps will be so significant that the Bears rookies will make the biggest impact of any first-year group in the league.

“The Bears added depth and talent at premium positions, with a couple of potential Day 3 steals,” Bowen wrote. “Darnell Wright is your Day 1 starter at right tackle. Both Gervon Dexter Sr. and Zacch Pickens have the traits to create interior disruption on the defensive front, and corner Tyrique Stevenson brings a physical play demeanor to the secondary. Plus, running back Roschon Johnson and wide receiver Tyler Scott could factor into the offensive game plan as rookies.”
