18-19m when Allen's cap hit next year is 21.5m Don't know of a team that has paid close to 40m a year for DTs especially when Sweat likely will want a new deal in 2023 so it will be tough for them.

What they could do is sign Payne long term and have a long cap hit in year 1 and 2 and then look to move Allen after next year given Payne is 2 years younger.

Keep in mind Young's production hasn't lived up to his hype so I would not make decisions on Payne on the assumption they need to sign Young. They could easily decided Payne, Allen and Sweat are the ones to keep.
I do think Washington will operate with the intentions that Chase Young is in their long-term plans. He was the highest investment they've made on that entire team and he did show brilliant flashes when he was healthy, including defensive rookie of the year.

That being said, they do see how his rehab is going and he hasn't played in over a year since his torn ACL. He was added to the active roster 2 games ago but didn't play in either for whatever reason. Could be being cautious with him because they do value him long-term. But strange situation in general.

What games stood out to you?
I think he got an interception off of Fields when JF looked like absolute shit earlier in the year.

He had 2 against Fields.
Thanks.
Houston’s entire draft just seemed like they had an entirely different scheme in mind instead of what Lovie would want.

Yeah like I said, anyone thinking the GM is drafting for Lovie's D doesn't understand the situation.
