The league did the Bears a huge favor with that schedule. If the Bears are going to be any good this year then those first 9 games are all winnable before the schedule gets tougher to end the season. Gives them time to work through growing pains and figure themselves out before things get tough.

I could see the league flexing them a time or two if they’re playing well. But yeah, a tame schedule to be sure.

Damn, I missed all of the sea talk. Putting all of the clues together, it seems to be about a fake Lion's fan who is really (pun intended) into fish, or so I think.

This schedule seems like for Caleb to get acclimated to the NFL before the division games start. After week 10, Caleb should be more comfortable with NFL speed and hopefully lights up the NFC North.

Well last year more than ever I heard people saying who the hell wants to watch this game, on games on Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights. I guessed the NFL listened.
