I guess an interesting question is would the Bears let it leak that they want 2nd interviews with Wolf and Ossenfort...and then never give them a chance to do that 2nd interview? On top of that, all of these interviews so far have been via Zoom, correct? So, are they really only going to do a single in person 2nd interview with a GM candidate and then hire that guy while giving no other candidate they liked a similar chance at an in person interview? Right or wrong, they don't seem to be the types to do that. At least, I hope so.

I just hope at this point if Poles and Quinn are who they want the land them. Kind of sucks we are getting the Giants second choice though. But as we know being first isn’t always the best.

Great point and I think you’re right. They will do those interviews regardless. If the fit is right and Poles prefers to be here he will wait. I don’t think either team is going to try to pressure him with a now or never proposal, it just doesn’t work like that unless you’re Jerry Jones or on Shark Tank.

Same thing they always do.

For two guys who aren't football guys, wouldn't you want to hire the most experienced guy possible, not a newcomer to the job?

Bears logic, keep doing the same thing expecting different results.

I’m kind of proud of George he told Polian to pound sand. We don’t want to be colts lite.

Trestman Jr. ?
lol he does give off Trestman Jr vibes. lol. Hey, we don't need him to be a leader of men and make everyone hold hands in the shower. We just need him to make an offense that Fields can thrive in. I heard he's the one who designs the run plays in SF. I'm sure he could do well with Montgomery and Herbert.

Trestman was an odd duck....like a guy you work with you just nod at and have no problem working with, but would rather avoid if you could.

McDaniel? He's a guy you'd want to have a beer (or smoke) with after work.

Big difference.

I'd like to be the fly on the wall that sees Polian butt hurt...."Well why am I even here?"

Cause I’m George the billionaire ***** wanted to hang out with my favorite author and eat some unseasoned chicken.
