:obama:

So the Knicks won the season series = better than Bulls. Right.

And the Heat got Battier. I forgot that he is the savior.

The Knicks have made some nice moves. Their starting 5 is better then the Bulls right now..I think the Bulls have a better bench, but the Knicks starting five is looking scary.

Davis < Rose
Fields > ? (Could change)
Melo > Deng
Amare > Boozer
Chandler = Noah

As far as the Heat go, Battier is huge for them. Their perimeter defense is going to be sick. Wade, LeBron and Battier? Scary thought there.

Call me crazy but I dont see the Knicks being that scary at all. What good is Tysons defense on a Mike Dantoni team. Melo, Amare...yeah that team is still going to struggle defensively

Stern is going to strip the Hornets until it's all D-Leaguers and Chris Paul.

Stern should stay consistent and block the david West trade to BOS.

NO isn't getting robbed Megatron. they're doing that deal to clear cap so they can take more in the LAL-HOU-NO trade.

actually.. can Stern block that? West was technically a FA and the Celtics are getting him in a sign and Trade so west can still get his money.

so Stern shouldn't be able to block it..

I'm guessing the LAL-HOU-NO deal get's done shortly after this deal gets done

First off, the writers that keep pegging Stern for blocking the CP3 deal need to fix their technical facts.

The Hornets are league owned, so the owners can challenge and vote any move made. It was Dan Gilbert that called for the Laker/CP3 vote, not Stern.

If the owners don't intervene, then Stern wont block anything.

Stern is a used Charms Blow-Pop gum stick, but the fact is he didn't block the trade, the owner(s) did.

but now the pressure is on Stern for all trades made after that one. He'll be expected to block a trade that isn't deemed fair by the owners.

and what isn't deemed fair by the owners is small market teams giving up their stars to a big market.

NO trading West to Boston is doing just that... but since David West was a free agent, I don't think that would apply here

None of the owners challenged it.

Howard only wants a trade to the Lakers, Nets or Dallas

KCJHoop K.C Johnson
Told doesn't want to be w/ Bulls. RT @sam_amick: Orlando PR says DHoward's agent has permission to speak w/ Lakers, Nets, Mavs about trade.

The Knicks don't scare me at all. And Davis to the Knicks isn't set in stone either. The amount of ball hogging on that team would be crazy if he joined.

The Heat are better. I've said that in countless threads already. If for no other reason then they've all had a year under their belt together. But they still have ZERO bench, which in this jam packed season is critical, & gives us atleast close to equal standing with them, especially when we sign Rip, which will likely be tomorrow.

The Bulls' starting 5 is tons better defensively and much better rebounding-wise. Yes, their starting 5 kills us offensively, but our's is nothing to sneeze at.

And their bench is non-existent. The Bulls have the best second unit in the league.

About the Heat... yep. You're not lying.
