was there some kind of misconception that preseason was meant to be taken seriously? it's literally just an evaluation tool to see who the good players are and which ones need to get cut. part of the reason it's so vanilla is so players don't get hurt also. for those mad about handoffs.

Also a distinction has to be made between journalism and commentary.

Reading twitter or articles or interviews or pressers and pulling quotes and giving a reaction is not journalism. It is commentary.

Journalism requires primary sourcing and an investigative component.
