Lol noHe should’ve signed Bridgewater & made him the starter flat out.

You can’t blame Nagy entirely for a bad offense when Pace has added little talent.
A chef is only as good as your ingreidents
Nagy is 10x the fraud that Pace is.
Yes, Pace missed on Mahomes, but it wasn't like he was passing on Peyton Manning. Pace has been pretty bad with first round picks, but I would say slightly above average otherwise.
Nagy has done nothing but bring in a big wall sized whiteboard plastered with crap along with his obnoxious playsheet "trophy" room, he is the definition of all flash no substance.
And I can gua-ran-tee if hesomehow gets the Bears in a big game he will go all deer in headlights on playcalling and call like 4 runs and 3 half back double passes.
Pace has built an elite defense. There was zero talent on either side of the ball when he arrived, sans Kyle Fuller. Did he miss on Mahomes? Fuck, I already said he did. And pump the breaks on sizing up Watsons yellow jacket, he is 10 years of similar play away from even being considered.
If you don't see that Nagy is shit at playcalling and protecting a young developing QB then I can't help you. Whatever potential MT has certainly hasn't been realized by Inspector Gadget.
Well technically he passed on someone that has surpassed Peyton Manning at this stage of their careers.
See Phil Emory/Trestman/TuckerSo did Hatley, Angelo, Finks and other GMs before him. Building a top D has never been a problem for Bears GMs
Pace was not brought in to build an O.He was brought in to build a Super Bowl contender. He hasn't done that yet, but the team is far from the talent shit hole it was the last few years under Angelo and the Emory years. The team has to take steps to consistent playoff team this season and beyond or Pace should be go.but Pace was brought in to build an O which he has failed miserably at.
This team isn’t a super bowl contender because he hasn’t built a league average NFL offense let alone a SB one lmfaoSee Phil Emory/Trestman/Tucker

I was responding to the question., "And what has Pace done? He’s ultimately responsible for the talent on the field. "
But if you just want to keep yapping and nipping at my heels like a chihuahua feel free.
That seems a lot of conclusions to draw from like 2 individual practicesTell me if I am wrong, but from what I have gathered.
Trubisky was showing promise early on in camp, but has faltered during both the scrimmage and long drive simulation. Summary - he looks good in shorts, but seems to fall apart under pressure.
Foles was not able to keep up with Trubisky early on, and while he looks ok in the simulation and long drive, he is not taking the deep shots to test himself, the defense, or WR. Summary - check down king like he has always been.
The O-line seems to be improved, but how you are going to test that without actual games is beside me. The biggest news coming out of the RB group is that a converted WR is joining them....
The TE group was very good early on, but nearly invisible (no mention of them) in the most recent long drive simulation.
Summary - we are once again going to struggle on offense.
Prediction for our first game September 13th - we come out looking flat for the entire first half going 3 and out on 4 consecutive drives, but our stellar defensive only allows 2 field goals. In the second half we start to get something going but lose the opener 20-13.
No shit Sherlock. This team isn’t a super bowl contender because he hasn’t built a league average NFL offense let alone a SB one lmfao
Cool. Just wanted to make sure you’re aware of how obvious it is when you minimize Pace’s shortcomings but are ready to crucify Nagy.No shit Sherlock.
Nagy is one of Pace's biggest shortcomings. an average 12-15 ranked ball control offense with this defense is a SB contending team. But Pace's offensive guru, Nagy, completely refuses to understand or except that. If Nagy won't change and Pace can't get him to, they both should go.Cool. Just wanted to make sure you’re aware of how obvious it is when you minimize Pace’s shortcomings but are ready to crucify Nagy.
Maybe, but how many teams have worse personnel on the offensive side of the ball than the Bears in the NFC? Like 2 or 3? Washington, New York, and maybe Carolina come to me off the top of my head.Nagy is one of Pace's biggest shortcomings.
Problem is this team isn’t built to be ball control. They don’t have the OL for that or a RB for that. Like I said personnel on the offensive side of the ball is embarrassing.Nagy is one of Pace's biggest shortcomings. an average 12-15 ranked ball control offense with this defense is a SB contending team. But Pace's offensive guru, Nagy, completely refuses to understand or except that. If Nagy won't change and Pace can't get him to, they both should go.

NFL wide I would say:Maybe, but how many teams have worse personnel on the offensive side of the ball than the Bears in the NFC? Like 2 or 3? Washington, New York, and maybe Carolina come to me off the top of my head.
And I would say based off of offensive production for the last couple seasons it stands to figure most of the position groups are at the lower end of your rankings. Which is the problem. It’s easy to say play to your strength when looking at this from a personnel standpoint there really isn’t one.NFL wide I would say:
WR: I would say they are 10-15
TE: 5-25 huge unknown
Oline: 12-24
RB: 12-24
QB: 10-28
Offensive coaching has been 20-32 and 20 is generous, so not sure whether the players are higher end of those numbers hampered by pathetic coaching or just not that good. I think with a good offensive coach and sensible ( or maybe just not fucking stupid) playcalling the talent is good enough for a top 15 offense.
My hope is that Nagy gets his head out of his Arena League ass and becomes an NFL coach. If not big changes need to come.
Just so im clear here... training camp matters if it is qbs looking bad, but not when TE's look good or a qb looks improved, is that right?
