Bears Insider @bears_insider 1m

RT @sean_hammond: Nagy said DT Akiem Hicks (quad) punting the ball last week had nothing to do with his injury.

Baited question.
Tiny fully stretched proper form trained punters never strain their quads, like ever, why would a 350lb DT strain his doing a sudden movement activity he has no clue how to do properly.

This is the perfect example of someone who lets his hate for Pace (The guy he loved at this time last year) get in the way of the truth. Poor little guy.

ARob
A.Miller
T.Ginn
D.Mooney--really rooting for this kid.
J.Graham
C.Kmet
D.Harris
D.Monty--lets hope that groin is nothing too serious.
T.Cohen
C.Patterson--WR/RB/TE

Seems like a lot of offensive weapons to me.

I would do what is suggested and do an under centre zone run offense like Shannahan runs that protects the QB and uses their feet.

I would have also invested in my OL rather than spend 14 million on a complimentary pass rusher to my 25 million dollar pass rusher.

How is R.Quinn a complimentary pass rusher? You know every team needs 2 starting pass rushers and a starter isn't a complimentary player?

Because Pace doesn’t know how to build an offense.

Mediocre QB + Mediocre OL is not a winning strategy

I can name plenty of QB's that can play really good with bad o-lines. It happens every year. Look at R.Wilson or D.Watson as just two examples. What we need is a real QB and then we can win with this offense. Sure i'd love to have that real QB and give him a great o-line but a real QB doesn't absolutely have to have a great o-line to win. Just sayin.

Groin strains are no yoke.

I had one, one time, from too much coochie

The strain will absolutely persist unless Zero is done for a couple of weeks, sometimes three or four weeks are required.

He can like do stationary cycling and XCountry, but running is pretty much outta the equation for a bit

TRU was with the 2’s against the 2’s. No excuses TRU.
Bullshit
Nagy himself made it a point to mention he was with the 2s and the 2s oline so i doubt alot of blame gets thrown Mitches way there
The way this is going down with the flip flopping imho what they do with the firsts is whats gonna decide whose the starter

I've always wanted Foles to start the season so Mitch could watch and hopefully learn how to run an NFL O. Best case is that it actually happens and Mitch steps up when eventually needed at some point this year. I guess Mitch getting there before the season would be better but even if he starts, I don't think it will be because he's better at throwing to the best guy at the best time. It would be due to his physical traits tipping the scales.
