My guess is a trade incoming, allowing us to eat some cap hit for us before taking some in trade as well. Send him back to Detroit or Islanders or Montreal. that thinks speed can help everybody else.
Somebody looking to spark offense that is cap inflexible.

I'd love to have a conversation with KD on not only why he brought in this group of older players but also why these particular guys. The team is slow....both physically and mentally. I'm no GM....but if its me, I would've been looking for a forward to play with the kid.

I don't mind some of them but I think he brought in too much. The main thing was vet presence and leadership and I think he went a little redundant.
