Donato is sllllllooowwww.
Yes and he's not alone. Right now they are fielding a team with their players' average age is over 29 years. For a team that is rebuilding, that's pretty old....hell, that's really old. They are the 5th oldest team in the NHL the last time I checked. Much like the Cub's Hoyer, KD is making a habit of bringing in other teams castoffs. That is not gonna work. People worry about hurting young players by bringing them up too soon...maybe they should be worried about what they're doing to their best player.

I get having a player like Hall and Foligno on the team, but that's the extent. Maybe an old dinosaur on D ala Sopel. No more than that. And I'll admit I'm not the best versed person in hockey.

Yet he's leading the team in scoring. You don't ask how...

Speaking of which--10 game goal drought for Bedard and 0 shots. Kid's gotta get back to playing his game.

Aside from that, not a perfect game but I'll take the win. I think Kaiser needs to sit a spell.

Any given Sunday I guess.

I think the second worst team (maybe third)in NHL just beat the second best (maybe third).

Bedard can't have zero shots in 10 games that's crazy.

Didn't see a second of the game. But I guess at least they got a point?

Dropped a 2 goal lead.

LR and his staff need to go.

Oh Lordy.
They played well for a second game in a row.

Jones is fucking sadly addition by subtraction. 27 minutes more shared between guys who actually want to score.

I think Jones is saving all his energy for the month before the trade deadline.

Keep him "injured" until then and eat half his contract or whatever the max is. Probably still couldn't trade him in the best of circumstances.

This team needs a healthy Hall with Bedard and an enforcer, either Dickinson or Foligno.

I haven't done this in a while, which means I probably don't believe in this team build or understand the league where the Rangers are blaming Trouba and Kreider for their problems and looking to move on?!

So me stating I'm confused about a few things should be obvious.

Here goes....

We need to try

Bedard-Dickinson-Hall
Foligno-Terravainen-Nazar
Bertuzzi-Reichel-Kurashev
Smith-Maroon-Machyev

No, they didn't play well overall.

They played 40 minutes, and then were gassed. Not 60 like they were supposed to. Passing sucked, coverage sucked, offensive pressure sucked, Bedard wasn't shooting, and we only got depth scoring.

No Jones is neither here nor there; we aren't appreciably better or worse without him. It may say a lot about his actual value, but the team is not better; they are still blowing leads and not playing a full 60.
