I personally wouldn't.
I'm just under 6 feet and prefer dating chicks 5'7 or shorter. In fact, my last four GF's were 5'2, 5'0, 4'11 and 5'6, respectively.

I'm 5'8'' and this girl is 5'11'', I mean - I'm more than confident in areas that deal with dating girls, but I always feel my height is a factor in some things, It's really the only thing I'm worried about when dating.

I have no clue how to deal with that one. I'm 6'1" and am really weirded out by my friend's fiance...she's probably 6'3" at least (and he's a fucking giant [6'6" plus]). While at a party with them Friday I realized how odd it felt being short by comparison...it was seriously a strange feeling.
I guess my point is that dating a tall chick shouldn't be an issue, but it is...

I think all bars are crowded at any period of time when a normal person might go to them.... I thought it was just a thing in college cause all the underage 19 and 20 year olds just wanted to be at the bar.... then I started working downtown and found every time we went out for happy hour if we didn't go early enough (like 3:30-4pm) it would be crowded and we would have to stand.... Then I thought maybe its just like that for an hour or 2 and then people head home.... so one night I go out with my buddy at like 6:30-7pm.... still standing room only every where we went.
Why does every bar get to a point where its so crowded you cannot move.... everywhere I go.... College, suburbs, City, on vacation.... lol I have come to watch TV/Movies and any time someone goes to a bar and just walks in and sits down at a nice clean table without having to snipe it.... It pisses me off cause I know it isn't true

Gotta know the right bars. And guess what? Those bars always end up going out of business :-(... Dive bars usually aren't that terrible, but still this places do indeed get very packed. That's why I love summer with places that have outside patios.. allows more maneuver..sometimes those places still get overtly crowded too though.

Yeah, I've got a nice little bar that's generally populated by locals in their 30s and older which is usually fairly empty (except for Friday fish frys). A friend of mine has bartended there for years, so it's a good place to go have a few and be able to expect relative peace while chatting with her. Good place to watch hockey and chat with the old-timers as well.
