They traded for Tyson Miller. ,Came up with the Cubs. Seems to be having a decent year.

Minor blip, cost was nothing.

And that’s with Ben Brown not making top 100, though still qualifying as prospect.

Agree. Deepest in memory.

Dallas Green years to get that deep

I've been thinking that Jed should bring up Luis Vazquez and axe Madgral.

Vazquez is a plus SS. This keeps Horner at his strongest position. Morel has improved enough to not be a eyesore at 3B

Other than that PCA should get full time AB back at Iowa. He is still developing and should not be sitting on the bench at this point.

Other than that. Jed should target the other Miller. Mason from the A's. Steele had him on for a pod cast. He has a very interesting backstory and would be a guy worth the prospect cost.

Wisdom, Madrigal and Amaya.

What they lack in offense they make up for with their lack of defense. 😳

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Playing Atlanta is like the Bears playing the Packers....and the Braves will probably get about as far as Green Bay....a first or second round exit.

Chris Sale vs this lineup is like Rodgers/Favre vs Chris Conte.

Well this is fucking pathetic. 0 runs and 7hits the last 2days? Hitting coach is doing a great job!

***** on the broadcast jinxed it by calling Taillon one of the best NL pitchers. Right in mid sentence, pow, HR. Turned the game off and hit the gym.

Assad should make the ASG. He keeps proving that spin rate and velocity doesn't mean quality starts

On thing that I noticed about Assad is his ability to tail his 2 seem from off the plate to a strike like Maddux used to do to lefties. Add his breaking pitch and he has been very effective.

At this point you have to ink him into the rotation going forward. With all of the instability going on this year you have to lean on Assad and Imanaga to pave the way

Might be time to bring him up. The where to play him will work itself out.

Put him in LF and let happ dh. If Davis plays well, trade happ to anyone that will take him

You want to take Happ's glove and arm out of the lineup, but leave the bat IN?

Bass ackward.

I would think as a DH vs lefties. Davis IMO would be a solid trade chip and show casing him for a few days while players are going through injuries is a good opportunity.

I would not push a long term solution. Players force those decisions.

Well my hope is for him to be gone completely

Happ has put himself into a situation where he has to produce at a high level to justify PA's.

LF gold glove is a slap on the butt award for a left fielder. They should be one of the 3 best hitters on the team

But I feel ya on Happ. If he was able to play 2B and some 3B this would be a non topic as his versatility would over look his lack of production

Most of this will force itself into the off-season. Cody opting to stay and PCA and Caissie needing full time play will end up forcing some trades. Jed will always need pitching so this is not a bad issue

Ideally next year Cody opts in and moves to LF. PCA takes over CF and Caissie and one of Canario or Davis run the DH and rotation of the D.

This allows Jed to trade Happ and Tauchman

But this is a off-season issue. In season there is too much injury to risk losing a bat
