it continues to be the same thing. People/websites want more publicity so they say thath stuff

You would know.

Mr I'm gonna make two threads saying the same thing that 1/4 of people are saying.

Thanks :crazydance:

As of now, Theo can not talk to the Cubs and does not know what to do.

I honeslty don't know if I believe this or not, I say no and he can talk to the Cubs if he hasn't already.

I just think it's funny how all reports are coming outta Boston and none outta Chicago. It just seems odd.

Yeah I know, but something usually leaks. He's doing a fantastic job, gotta give it to him.

Is WHDH Boston media or just some random?

I wish one of the big national guys would get a scoop soon.

If we don't get Theo, I really wonder what is going to happen. We're gonna have to make a quick decision and I don't think that's good at all. However, if we weren't going to get Theo, I don't think Ricketts would be in Boston working with them. I think it'll get done and then I'm cum in my pants.

I think it will and has to be Theo. If Boston wasn't gunna let them interview Theo, wouldn't they have said no right away. They will have a new GM right away, their assistant GM.

If it's not Theo, I have to go with Hahn. Since KW is officially staying now.

Plus the fact that Boston's execs continue to ignore answering the questions surrounding Theo's future.

...and the owner even said Theo won't be here forever and is ready to move on without him. So...yeah!

True. That's contextual though. The way he said it, he implied that sometime down the line he could see it, but would like to keep Theo for a few more years. Ultimately, it's Theo's decision.

That is true, but in a few years the Cubs position may not be open and would have to settle for a worse gig. He wins with the Cubs, he'll be a GM HOF. So...his career is now or never.

Also, if Theo heard that (which I bet he did), he would be yeah I better take that. I'll get the money, position and more. Can't pass that up. If he's smart he'll take it. Reports said Henry will not stand in his way, so it's all up to him.

I can see it being a really tough decision for him. If he wants to look at big picture of coming to the Cubs though he WOULD go down as the best GM in baseball history if he brought a championship here. Im sure he would not mind that title.
