I can't see him returning to Boston. Why would they be dragging this out if he was staying for sure. They won't even interview manager candidates because of the Theo situation. Hopefully everything will be figured out by friday

They probably need to figure out something before the World Series starts, otherwise they'll have to wait for an off-day or afterwards to announce anything.
