I think most Cubs fans are excited because its a down the road type of reward. But Theo isn't taking Boston's scouts with him. I'm not sure how well the Cubs draft/scout, so if its purely throw money at free agents then we know how well Theo is (Crawford, Dice-K, Lackey).
