If it wasn't speculation, the Red Sox would have said that he is staying. There is no reason that this is still being talked about if there is nothing that is going to happen. Both the Cubs and Boston are being hush-hush about this for a reason. If Theo wasn't coming here, they would have told the media to stfu.
