The price for Garza has to be going up with the way he has performed this season showing that last year wasn't a one time deal.

I doubt it. It makes no sense, but again, that could be the reason they pushed him back.

I'm still not reading much into it.

I don't doubt the Cubs are listening to offers. The only reason Garza is still here is because no team anted up the price Theo wanted.

I agree. Just kind of interesting cause he is being pushed back 1 day and also that Travis Wood is in Chicago today. Hopefully he just is ill. I really enjoy watching Garza pitch

I think Cubs would listen to anyone. But to trade a SP like him in May would have to be an overpay in my eyes

The Yanks need pitching badly now and that does make sense. The other team (if it is true), hmmm ... Red Sox? It would make sense, but a trade will not heppen with them.

The Tigers, I think, is still a strong possibility.

  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks

  4. Loyola Ramblers
  5. Northern Illinois Huskies
  6. Northwestern Wildcats
I saw a proposition of Wade Davis for Geovany Soto. I would do Davis and a PTBNL for Soto.

That woul be a terrible trade for Tampa Bay...

Not for the Cubs, but for other teams...wonder who would try to snag Hamels and Victorino. Because of the CBA, if the new team cannot sign them to an extension, they won't be subject to compensation and thus the Cubs could potentially sign them without coughing up any draft picks.

I honestly think if the Cubs were going to get anyone they'd be looking for pitching and not position players.

If you say something enough times it is bound to be true, right?

Really didn't think the Cubs would have been in on Wright even if he did hit the market. The chance to get him was last year when their owner was going off about the whole team.
