Back on topic, I honestly believe Kyle Long (or Longs as he is known by a friend of mine) will get healthy, stay healthy and return to pro bowl form. With Kush healthy going into next season the bears will have 5 quality G/C's. Even if Sitton is getting old, that is depth.

I wish more people would reply seriously. Long is one of the highest paid players on this team, yet plays the least important position on the offensive line... well, when he's not injured.

Why, to you, is this considered an invalid talking point?

I'm not even going to address the posts by people like Bear Pride as they have shown time and time again they have no interest in talking football (or women), and would rather just troll every thread I make. But, I believe you're a decent poster ike with a 1, so maybe you can enlighten me as to why any thread about a potentially deactivated Long shouldn't garner "serious answers" when I seriously would like to talk about it...

I plan on making a thread about Trevathan here shortly, as well. Another struggling player eating a good chunk of the cap space, who may also be deactivated Sunday. I'm hoping for some serious replies, if you can believe that.

This is heartwarming. Adipost abandons his BFF db70 and his admittedly corrupt FF league. Adipost was the only guy sticking up for DB70 over there. Then Adipost comes back here and trashes him while he was banned and couldn't defend himself.

Now all is forgiven, db70 is the most loyal, forgiving, sweetheart I have ever seen. If Adipost pulled that treacherous shit on me I would not be able to overlook it and pretend it never happened.

I hate to say it but I'm starting to get the impression that Long parties too much and isn't taking care of his body. Over the last 2 years I have seen in out at clubs late night at least 4-5 times. Last time I saw him he even let me buy him a shot and take a photo with him. I hope I'm wrong about him not taking care of his body because he's a very nice approachable guy but that's how it's starting to look

Now, I dont have an issue with players partying and having a good time, as they are human... but thank you for this. I actually saw Kyle at polekatz during the offseason. Cool dude. He definitely knows how to have a good time...

Isn't the story on Kyle as a youth that he was extremely gifted, beyond that of his brother, and rested on his laurels in college, partied too much, didn't apply himself, and ended up in jail?

Maybe the injuries, and his fall off the pedostool are proving too much for him to handle and he has returned to the gravy for solace?

This is not entirely true. Only a handful of teams assign captains weekly, and the Bears are not one of them.
