Interesting how Adam follows Danes board and goes with Conerly ahead of Banks.
Has he ever been mocked before Banks?
The top 7 seem pretty locked in imo.

Jahns: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

Here’s how I see the first nine picks playing out:

1. Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami
2. Browns: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
3. Giants: Abdul Carter, DE, Penn State
4. Patriots: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
5. Jaguars: Mason Graham, DT, Jaguars
6. Raiders: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
7. Jets: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
8. Panthers: Jalon Walker, Edge, Georgia
9. Saints: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

I don’t think I’ve seen Conerly ahead of Banks but it wouldn’t bother me even though I prefer Banks. I want to see LT covered with a premium option.

Please post any draft rumors you guys see this week. I am ready. Especially since my sources (not confirmed) have told me the draft may happen this week.

Fishbain and Jahns released their latest mock drafts this morning at The Athletic. They’re thinking like me at 10. Get a LT and Conerly could be an option if Banks is gone. Jahns selected him with Banks on the board.

Fishbain's mock draft 3.0

1-10
Kelvin Banks Jr.
OL
Texas

2-39
Kaleb Johnson
RB
Iowa

2-41
Carson Schwesinger - I hate this pick!
LB
UCLA

3-72
Harold Fannin Jr.
TE
Bowling Green

5-148
Fadil Diggs
edge
Syracuse

7-233
Esa Pole
OT
Washington State

7-240
Keondre Jackson
S
Illinois State

Jahns' mock draft 3.0

1-10
Josh Conerly Jr.
OT
Oregon

2-39
Mason Taylor
TE
LSU

2-41
Jaylin Noel
WR
Iowa State

3-72
Sai'vion Jones
DE
LSU

5-158
Brashard Smith
RB
SMU

7-233
Zah Frazier
CB
Texas-San Antonio

7-240
Addison West - He’s from Cary Grove
OL
Western Michigan

Good lord those mocks are terrible

He has both Jeanty and Warren potentially being there for the Bears
I refuse to believe Mason… unless that was a typo in the header. That would be too good to be true.

Oddly, right before the Bears, he’s suggesting the Jags could take Jeanty. It’s all over the place.

Here’s a pretty comprehensive pre-draft analysis of the Bears from a needs and cap perspective. Love him or hate him (Leming), he makes some salient points.

It’s just a few days until the draft and @ILoveDick refuses to log in and give us his opinions under his new moniker. Imagine getting the “Dick Lover’s Report” to ponder a few days out!

Will he show up after the picks are in? Will he self ban and sulk forever?

All I can say is thanks Rome for winning that bet for me!
What’s the obsession? He’s a pain in the ass when he’s here and people can’t live with the fact that he’s not here. Much like the lions knucklehead. It seems many here. Just like to have a whipping boy but it ruins threads. Let’s just appreciate his absence and hope it continues.

He uses terrible terminology. He refers to teams “moving back in the first round” which sounds like trading down, but he means moving back INTO the first round by trading up, does he not?
I don't think in this case he is....I believe it is trading back.....whether its all BS or not waits to be seen. But these teams don't have a lot of ammo to move back into the first round.

Their best bet IMO is with Miami if they want to move up for a tackle. (Obviously I want a tackle so I wouldn’t do that)

A few days out and I’m starting to get a little twitchy like I was last year for Rome. I really wanted Odunze on this team for his ability and character. I think he’s going to be a great Bear.

This year, I just have such a strong feeling that LT needs to be addressed at 10. Imagine if Jones has a setback. Also, I don’t think there’s a chance in hell I’d want to pay him.

He’s a great guy and has provided incredible value for a 5th round pick, but moving on from him next year makes so much sense especially from a cap perspective.

I thought he meant teams trying to move back as in get extra picks later.

And that would make sense because there is not a lot of blue chip talent but there is a ton of quality day 2 talent out there.
