But trading up??Trading back is not going to happen for the Bears.
Trading back is not going to happen for the Bears.
What’s the obsession? He’s a pain in the ass when he’s here and people can’t live with the fact that he’s not here. Much like the lions knucklehead. It seems many here. Just like to have a whipping boy but it ruins threads. Let’s just appreciate his absence and hope it continues. It’s just a few days until the draft and @ILoveDick refuses to log in and give us his opinions under his new moniker. Imagine getting the “Dick Lover’s Report” to ponder a few days out!
Will he show up after the picks are in? Will he self ban and sulk forever?
All I can say is thanks Rome for winning that bet for me!
Bears could move to 5 with giving up a 1st and second and probably get back a 4th.But trading up??
He uses terrible terminology. He refers to teams “moving back in the first round”. Moving BACK sounds like trading down, But he means moving back INTO the first round by trading up, does he not?Trading back is not going to happen for the Bears.
I don't think in this case he is....I believe it is trading back.....whether its all BS or not waits to be seen. But these teams don't have a lot of ammo to move back into the first round. He uses terrible terminology. Their best bet IMO is with Miami if they want to move up for a tackle. (Obviously I want a tackle so I wouldn’t do that)
I thought he meant teams trying to move back as in get extra picks later. He uses terrible terminology. He refers to teams “moving back in the first round”. Moving BACK sounds like trading down, But he means moving back INTO the first round by trading up, does he not?
I did, haha. My Hail Mary's are that one and Ersery in the 1st.I might just put a few dollars on that. Interesting…
No he doesn't because Minnesota and Atl both have almost no draft capital so trading back is definitely something those teams should do and likely want to do.He uses terrible terminology. I guess that’s right.I don't think in this case he is....I believe it is trading back.....whether its all BS or not waits to be seen. But these teams don't have a lot of ammo to move back into the first round.

Just seems that “trading up” or “trading down” would have been more clear than “moving back in the first round”.
I think it is striking me that way, because someone else tweeted very similar and meant exactly the opposite.
Misdirection!!![]()
A few days out and I’m starting to get a little twitchy like I was last year for Rome. I really wanted Odunze on this team for his ability and character. I think he’s going to be a great Bear.
This year, I just have such a strong feeling that LT needs to be addressed at 10. Imagine if Jones has a setback. Also, I don’t think there’s a chance in hell I’d want to pay him.
He’s a great guy and has provided incredible value for a 5th round pick, but moving on from him next year makes so much sense especially from a cap perspective.
