Again just like in basketball all of the good talent has moved up to Power-4 conferences. The good players go elsewhere to get paid so the talent level Boise State faced was way worse than when it beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.

NIL has changed the balance of power throughout college athletics. This is why ASU went from 3 wins to 11 wins in one year. You can go out and take the best players from small schools.

ASU just did the same thing by grabbing a 1100 yard rusher to replace Skattebo. Kanye Udoh left Army to play his final two years at ASU. Army gets weaker and ASU doesn't take as big of a loss. Army is equivalent to what Boise State faced, NIL transfer portal weakened schools. Jeanty feasted on them.

What is your point exactly? Are you saying jeanty isn’t that good and if he played in a better conference he’d be ordinary? If so, I completely disagree.

Why do you believe he's so good? Why is he being called a generational talent? Why are some people trying to say he's the next Barry Sanders? What makes him a first round talent and not just another regular RB prospect?

What about him puts him in this high level of respect of greatness?

So give us players you’d take at 10.

The Dart rumors are in full swing. If he is drafted before 10, that is fantastic for the Bears.

From the article linked below…

“Kevin Stefanski and Cleveland Browns targeting Jaxson Dart in the 2025 NFL Draft?

“One of the more interesting attendees to Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart’s Pro Day today in Oxford: Browns coach Kevin Stefanski,” NFL insider Albert Breer wrote on X today. “So while owner Jimmy Haslam and GM Andrew Berry were at Penn State getting to know Abdul Carter, Stefanski got some QB recon work done.”

Cleveland has a whole team of scouts they could have sent to evaluate Dart at his pro day. The fact that the head coach wanted to get eyes on him and pass joining his bosses while they met Carter says a lot. The Nittany Lions’ pass rusher is viewed by some as the best overall player in this year’s class. And he will likely be there when the Browns are on the clock.”

Bucky Brooks has three RBs going in the top 20.

Jeanty at 6 to Las Vegas

Hampton at 10 to Chicago - No thanks!

Henderson at 20 to Denver

This is just an overreaction to the success the Eagles had with Barkley. Everyone is hyperventilating over two things, how often teams play nickel and the disappearance of the SAM linebacker and Saquon Barkley with the Eagles.

So naturally you have a bunch of idiots that think they can reinvent the wheel and have decades of success by running the ball.

Meanwhile what actually happened was the Chiefs missing three offensive line starters in the Super Bowl and trying to play their guard at left tackle.

Barkley had 25 carries for 57 yards in the game.

He's following DJ's suggestion of 3-4 1st round RB's.

I'm trying to figure who the blue chip prospects are. - Carter, Hunter for sure, then maybe Graham. Jeanty?
We were spoiled with last years super strong draft - finally!

NFL GM: Draft Has 4-5 'Blue-Chip' Prospects and 40 Players Graded 1st-2nd Round

Scott PolacekFeb 24, 2025

Teams picking later in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft will love to hear what one general manager told ESPN's Matt Miller for a Monday story.
"There are four, maybe five, blue-chip players," the GM said. "After that, it's 40 guys with a late-first-round or second-round grade."
In essence, there seems to be some agreement that this year's draft will feature a number of quality starters but not many franchise-altering superstars.
"You're going to see a ton of rookie starters from this class because it's such an experienced group," an AFC South area scout said.
That's not exactly what teams picking in the early portion of the first round want to hear considering front offices are looking for foundational Pro Bowlers when selecting that high. Still, it will give more teams around the league the opportunity to fill needs with immediate starters even if they aren't in full-on rebuilding mode picking at the top of the draft.

That’s true regarding the SB but Barkley and that offensive line carried them all season long.

If you have a strong offensive line paired with an elite RB, you can control most games. It’s disheartening for a defense to have a team run the ball down their throats. Plus, you control the clock. Everything is easier if you can run the football at a high level.

I like Jeanty, Hampton, and Judkins but I’m not sure any of them are elite. I certainly don’t want a RB at ten.

I want a LT or an edge.

Also, you need to go on the record with players you like at 10. No sniping after the fact…

Who was missing on their line?

I think we all would, but that might be easier said than done.
Unlike last year, plenty of warts in the top prospects.

Even in a strong class, its difficult to find a good LT at 10, let alone this one.
Membou is a RT and s/b gone anyway. If teams feel Campbell is a LT, he will be gone too.
Everything I've read, seen, heard, rank and projections have Banks farther down and many guard projections - right or wrong.

IMO, Williams isn't worth the 10 pick for a variety of reasons, same for Stewart.
Pearce is 6-5, has the production and athletic traits to be worthy at 10, but does he fit the boy scout mode? He would be my choice.
Green is 6-3, great production last year but has even more character issues.

This is probably why there is so much RB talk, and as Jahns said, they have to perform their due diligence on CB to see if there is a shut down CB out there.

I doubt we will know what direction they go at 10 until they actually make their pick.
