So let's rip the GM who got Cubs to playoffs 3 times in 7 years. No other Cub GM could say that sine 1908. With Hendry atleast I felt like team could contend. Does anyone think this team will contend now or even in next 3 years? I don't. I understand what they doing but asking fans to be patient while they get shit players is a joke. Either spend like Big Market or go young. Signing DeJusus, trading for 3B who couldn't hit his weight at Coors, does nothing. Play the kids over these piece of shit moves.

I think a lot of that money is fronted by the Cubs but they are going to explore public funding too. It's not something I approve of, but everyone does it so you have to expect the Cubs to do it too.
