Haven't seen Boqvist on the ice after that forward blew past him for the goal.

His lazy stick holding penalty in the 2nd also resulted in a PP goal for Vegas

Vegas was clearly the superior team, and 4-1 isn't exactly close. But the Hawks competed as well as I expected. That second game OT followed by the 2-1 loss killed them. But three one goal losses. They didn't look totally overwhelmed.

Vegas is really good.

The defense on this team is awful

The 4th line offers little to nothing

Crawford looked bad (behind an awful d but he gave up a fair share of soft goals in 9 games)

Nice to be in the playoffs but in this format able to watch every game/team it just reminds me of all the bad/money related moves bowman made to cripple us.....love to see these guys still on roster

Leddy
Panarin (the return of saad hasn't produced a real playoff win yet)
Tuevo
Lehner
Etc,etc, etc

Defense stunk this series. Other than Game 1, the Hawks were in it.

Pretty much. To me it looked like every star hit a high point and a low point at inopportune times where they couldn't really build on it, and ended up fighting against themselves.

Yeah, Crawford was bad until ~period 2 of Game 3 against Vegas.

Keith had 3 or so games where he played like complete ass--including the last one. He'd ping-pong between 2015-playoffs good and Looking like Matthew Keith.

Kane didn't really show up until the last game of the series.

Saad dissapeared offensively against Vegas.

Toews was awesome against Edmonton, then managed to regress to Arkhipov-level in Game 3 OT, only to bounce back.

We saw some 2nd tier and young guys show a lot of promise, and a few other look completely in over their heads. If nothing else this series was an eye-opener for what the 'hawks need moving FWD.

As predicted, they would beat edmonton to **** up the draft, then get destroyed by Vegas to make this really not worth it.

At worst they lost out in Fafreniere--which they had a 12.5% shot of getting (and you know Regis and Bettman were painting penguins and oil drops on a bunch of ping pong balls)

At best they lost 3-4 positions in the draft. They didn't really lose much.
