Then don’t play the sport. You can say this about every player in the NFL. I’m sure there is a deal on the table that would guarantee him tens of millions but he wants more. I don’t blame him. That’s his choice. But I don’t blame the Bears either. If it were me I’d make him an offer and hold my ground. Also Roquan repping himself is definitely making this more complicated.

I did not say I blamed the Bears either. It is just business. However the don't play the sport stuff is silly. NFL teams cut players all the time who underperform to avoid paying their salaries so I have no problem if a guy wants long term security. May the best negotiator win.
