There are advanced metrics that favor Smith. He led the NFL in Football Outsiders’ “stops” metric with 93. Stops are defined as tackles, assists or pass breakups that stopped an offensive play short of success.

Smith’s pass-coverage stats also separate him from Leonard and Warner.

According to Pro Football Reference, Smith has allowed only two touchdowns in coverage, both in his rookie season. Leonard has allowed nine touchdowns; Warner has allowed 10. Over the past three seasons, opposing quarterbacks have averaged 75.9, 59.6 and 76.8 passer ratings when throwing at Smith.

Doubt you get a response to this. I am apparently the only other person that is not convinced that Leonard is a better player and it should be obvious to anyone that Roquan turnover #s will go up in this defense. He won't have the number of FF but he will get turnovers and I would bet we will see a decrease in Leonard's if they are changing systems over there.
I am not saying Roquan is better overall but he does a lot of things better and is statistically better at seemingly everything except turnovers.

If only this game was played by passing to nets 40 yards down the field……

Member when Rookie Mitch throwing a ball through a tire and ppl skeeted themselves. His accuracy was all downhill after that.. He did manage to throw fields goals in the game though. wish they would have counted for 3 points.

No i'll wait to see what he does in actual games. He wasn't good last year and needs to show improvement even with little talent to help him on offense, actually i'll be even more impressed if he can look good with this offense.
So your saying Fields hasn’t improved or developed at all?
