Not sure what else you expect him to say, he is not speculate on Smith's motives or stick words in Smith's mouth, nor should he.

As for the Bears PR department not making RS available to the press, that is 100% Roquan not wanting to talk to the press. I am sure he is aware they want to talk to him and they have presented to him that the press wants to talk to him and he wants nothing to do with that right now. If he asked the Bears to talk to the press even though he didn't practice, they would surely oblige. Could you imagine the shit storm if the Bears tried to impose a gag order on him?

Plus, if he wants to answer any of their questions, there is nothing stopping him from calling his own press conference. I mean he has already said the Bears don't value him, are trying to take advantage of him, are negotiating in bad faith, and wants to be traded. It's not like he is afraid to say something bad about Poles or the team.


Basically you have a coach that isn't going to speculate about a players motivation that he has not talked to and a player that, other than putting out a crafted statement, has no interest communicating with the press.

Strange you know all of this yet Flus did not as he said repeatedly to go ask Quan and seemed confused as to whether Quan would be made available to speak or not.

Flus rolled into the press conference unprepared. Simple as that. Hopefully he knows better next time.

I'm honestly not sure what more i need to say or what is so complicated about all of this. For the 10th time, i expect him to not tell them to speak to someone he knows they cannot speak to.

Anyone still confused about this can ask @Visionman this but just in this thread...where he's banned for two more days.

I wasn't implying to drive there. Say you want to sleep off a drunk coming from a bar. If you get into your car and drop the keys outside of it, you won't get busted and if you're being that responsible, you shouldn't get busted. If a cop finds you drunk in a bar lot with your keys on you, the assumption is that you intended to drive.

The more I think about this the more I gotta respect Quan's balls on this one. Poles and Flus jerked him around all summer and dude was like **** it, I am about to go scorched earth on these mofos. Dude gon snitch on Poles to his boss ?. Then showed up to work the next day like nothing happened.

Quan setting himself up to be an agent once he retires from the NFL before week 1 if he don't get the deal he wants.

This is overstating things. ARob just showed what happens when a regime goes overboard. He is making less money but still better off than Pace or Nagy who got their ass fired.

There is a cost to playing hardball. Pace was overpaying FAs for years for a reason. Players are going to want more to play for a shitty franchise that holds players hostage. Yall acting like the Bears are the Pats.
