There is a group of people who believe the GM is always right, whether it is Pace or Poles. I understand the loyalty to a player, but the loyalty to an administrative employee is a head scratcher.

These types of arguments are banal and stupid, because I can change 1 word, and the sentence will still be correct:

"There is a group of people who believe the GM is always wrong, whether it is Pace or Poles."

If a person finds themselves in a place where they think the front office of a football team is 100% right OR wrong, that person is an idiot. And you can also replace front office with player, agent, etc and it will still be correct.

Better to just take things as they come and judge as one goes along, rather than making silly predeterminations very early into a rebuild just because a GM, coach or player "huwt a fan's feewings..."

Generally speaking, of course.

It will be the Niners starters vs. The Packs backups, but I like the depth. I think J-Love and the boys will have a good showing. Win-Loss record is not the goal in preseason. Getting some good work in and getting out of it injury free is the main goal.

They should have put J-Love in the promo.

What happened with ARob has nothing to do with Roquan. Different regime and coach altogether. Nagy basically took Robinson out of the game plan and Robinson loafed. I really don’t know anyone who’s upset that Robinson is on another team.

Also, players want the most money possible and will almost always go to the highest bidder.

Also, if Roquan loafs, as would be the only downside for Poles, he'll get a contract like AR got instead of a tops in the league kind. After demanding $20m/yr from the Bear, he got $15m/yr.

If he plays well, he can be tagged or signed to a big contract next year.
