I understand Getsy leaving if he's offered a head coaching job. I really hope the Bears have insane success on offense, and after finding success, Getsy decides to stay and finish what he's started. Why not spend a few more years coaching up Justin Fields to find out what their ceilings are together? Chicago has a reputation as a place where QBs and WRs flounder. Rewrite the record books with Fields, write your own chapter in Bears history, and become franchise legends together. Or yeah....go become head coach of the Carolina Panthers or some shit.

Its hilarious to me that we talk about the great offensive coordinator getting a Head Coaching job before snap one of the regular season has even been played. Swear to God this is a Bears fan thing.

The thing is, we've been in the stone age for so long, what we think might be revolutionary is probably just the status quo to most NFL teams.

This team doesn't have the talent on it yet to have Getsy to be promoted to a head coach - I think they are going to produce but still be limited.

We're going to likely have Getsy for at least 2 seasons, so I think it is a bit premature to talk about him leaving after 1. I think that's just neurotic.

So how does picking 7 in the waivers work? If there’s multiple guys there you like can you take them all? Or can you only take one at a time?
Just in case someone else didn't already answer this, every team is in the same order for every player that is waived, so the Bears would be 7th for every player they try to claim. It doesn't matter whether they try to claim multiple guys on the same day or not, they're still 7th for every claim.

It’s not nothing but not sure it is something…

Then again…

This!

I mean how lazy or ignorant do you have to be as Ian Rapoport?

Does he honestly think the Bears would be practicing the him with the starting OL and playing him to protect Justin Fields in games if they had no plans to keep him, just so they could showcase him for a late pick or even cut him? It's your fucking job dude! At least act like you put in a little work.

The bears theme right? Where the page numbers are completely invisible and shows as an orange block?

Can we get that fixed plz

#CCSModeratorStaffSomething
Yes, but the page number thing doesn't bother me much, as I use my excellent skills of deduction and reasoning to infer that I am on page 303.

Ehh, if fields looks elite this year there is a very good chance Getsy will be a hot HC candidate.

I don't think it will happen, but its not out of the realm of possibility.

He already interviewed for a Head Coach job last year with zero NFL regular season play call experience. So yes if he turns the Bears O around and proves his chops as a play caller then he will have more interest next year.

I’m tired of hearing about the Bears trading starting oline. They have to put out the best oline possible it’s top priority. Plus I thought our line was trash why do so many teams want to trade for our players?
