stones=most overrated band in the history of bands

Debating who is or is not a great band is as pointless as debating religion or politics but out of curiosity who do you consider to be some of the great bands?

He smokes A LOT of pot!

I heard somewhere that Steve Miller likes to get his lovin on the run, but I can't back that up with any paperwork so I could be wrong.

Doesn't everybody "called Maurice" smoke a lot of pot? I think it's the law in some States.

The production values on this performance are off the charts ;-)

two points:
1 I wouldn't even know the Stratocaster had birthday parties if it weren't for U-tube
2 those back-up singers contribute nothing to this song

I like that someone added a bunch of trippy effects to this live footage (cuz it's the 70's I guess)

edit: maybe it's just trippy film footage being played on a screen behind them

Meh, Stones did have some talent. Unfortunately most of their best material came under the influence of narcotics, see songs such as sister morphine etc. This band on the other hand was overshadowed by the Beatles, and very underrated:

One of my more favorite James gang videos, even with the background. I always wonder if that's the Les Paul he gave to Page

Turn off the garbage you're listening to right now and turn on some Weedeater.

I like most of Cream's stuff, and the Derek & the Dominoes album was very good, but at least half that album was Duane Allman. Otherwise, Clapton is kind of "meh" with me.

Agreed...once D&D broke up it was less about being creative and more about being commercially appealing

With the mentions of Steve Miller and the James Gang, I have to throw in Tommy Bollin.
