Agreed...once D&D broke up it was less about being creative and more about being commercially appealing
had to look that guy up to find out who he is, that's some pretty cool shitWith the mentions of Steve Miller and the James Gang, I have to throw in Tommy Bollin.
Clapton is overrated

That video is from the Mad Dogs and Englishman tour. That is the first album I owned and what I beleive is top 10 of all time. I have seen Joe Cocker many times over the years and his shows are great. He has one of the great rock pianists (Chris Stainton) and his band is just so good. In the Mad Dog Tour Leon Russell was on piano and the band director. One think with a Cocker concert is all the background singers cooingDon't tell my dad that lol
I know this guy looks/is probably cracked out when he sings but man...his voice. It just moves me. One of my favorite songs of all time.

Page was not the guitaristWasn't born at the time but boy do I wish I was there... Jimmy Page was the guitarist on the recording as well. Cockers voice is complete magic, they murdered that song.

Meh, Stones did have some talent. Unfortunately most of their best material came under the influence of narcotics, see songs such as sister morphine etc. This band on the other hand was overshadowed by the Beatles, and very underrated:

I thought I was the only guy who knew who TB was.
you sure, I could've sworn he was the guitarist or atleast wrote the lines...on that album, maybe I got some wrong info somewhere then.
