I wouldn't mind McDaniels, but he would want total control of the Bears.

How do you know what’s out there and who Flores want to staff? We don’t know who his team might consist of.
You are not listening. If a candidate was good he would ALREADY be an offenve coordinator. I dont want a TE coach as my OC. Stop defending stupid shit

He seems like a real douchebag, but might be a good coach. I'm open to it.

I don't want a defensive head coach, I would like a proven OC, like McDaniels for head coach. Once we start winning, another team would take our OC, and then we would have to rebuild with a new OC. I want McDaniels , he is proven even with a young Qb.

The fear is with a defensive HC we wont ever get over the .500 hump. Our defense can be respectable, but it's our offense that is missing a great plan with real plays and a vision. I fear with Flores or Frazier we will always be 9-8 or 8-9. We need a HC that can super charge an offense and get us to 11-6 or 12-5 every year

How you know who is good or isn’t? It’s a lot of bullshit OC who got promoted to that spot….ie. Matt Nagy. You don’t know who is good or isn’t. Like I said, the Bears need a leader of men…regardless if it from the offense or defense.

It’s the Dan Quinn conundrum. Was never the same after his great OC left for the 49ers. Do you think Kyle or McVay suffer the same fate if their DC gets hired? Nope.

McDaniels is in the same mold as these guys. Would be a great hire if he wanted the job. Combine him with the Cleveland Browns guy for that diversity and let’s go!

You use Matt Nagy as the example to your argument? Have you lost your mind?

I'm so torn on McDaniels. I recognize the greatness as OC but will he go the way of the Krell.

No, NFL rules obstruct HC's from hiring away offensive coordinators to be their Offensive coordinators (unless they were fired). So, Flores would have to pick a TE coach, receiver's coach or some lower level coach. That's not what we need
You just keep making yourself look stupid.

you can work around that rule by giving them the assistant HC title.
