Justin has weaknesses in his game, to be sure.

But I never saw anything to indicate he "couldn't handle the pressure of Chicago".
I guess the 'pressure of Chicago' is to handle the constant losing when you've come from HS/College programs where you never lost. TBH, it does seem like the losing affected Fields and Williams to a visible extent. But the idea that Chicago is some type of pressure cooker media market is a joke. And if Fields doesn't succeed with the Jets, it will be more due to the Jets being a terrible organization rather than Justin not being able to handle the pressure.

I could have sworn that we went 4-0 under Krenzel. I remember him beating the Giants and Niners.
3-2

It's not worth my time explaining how fucking asinine of a statement that is considering the history of this team.

Don't be shocked if Mariota ends up being the Steelers starter. I believe he played for the Falcons when Arthur Smith was their H.C.

Steelers wanted nothing to do with Russ and good on Fields and his team for not being pressured by it - if they're looking at Darnold they're scrambling because that means they're either not a landing spot for Rodgers or not interested in him.
I don't see it that way. Rodgers has been washed up for three years....I don't see the Steelers being interested after having Russell Wilson. If they can get Darnold at a reasonable price, that would be a better option than Wilson/Fields/Rodgers, IMO

I'm guessing 'reasonable price' is why the Steelers are suddenly interested in Darnold. Could be wrong.
He's gotten a ton of suitors - Rodgers odds to the Seahawks have rocketed up so it's possible they get outbid for Darnold by the Steelers but that pricetag is going to be nuts. Geno's extension was said to be $40-45M/yr - Darnold won't be too far off of that in FA.

He was benched by Smith and then quit on the team.

Did not start as many games as Fields.

Everyone who was worse never started as many games as Fields. Fields started three seasons and everyone who he was nearly as bad as or worse than were all benched.
Your comment was about players with 5 starts. I don’t know if that dipshit Mirer qualified for that though

The worst offenders were benched or in the case of McNown his throwing shoulder was destroyed and he was never the same player he was in college.

He did however have a 300 yard game as a rookie the first Bears rookie to do so.

McNown was just not mentally prepared nor mature enough. The shoulder didn’t help but when you offensive line refuses to block for you, you are not going to make it.
