Steelers have been anything but stable at QB since Big Ben retired.

If Glenn is bought in on Fields - the age of the core of that team fits him better than the Steelers and their offensive talent is significantly better than the Steelers.
And yet the Steelers will still be a better team and probably make the playoffs.

The Steelers have made the playoffs every year since Roethlisberger’s retirement. The vast majority of NFL players would gladly take that level of “anything but stable.”

The worst offenders were benched or in the case of McNown his throwing shoulder was destroyed and he was never the same player he was in college.

He did however have a 300 yard game as a rookie the first Bears rookie to do so.
McNown was a prima donna. Had handicapped parking at UCLA.

Slick Rick has been 100% money so far and he's still saying Rodgers is going to the Giants.

With all the different rumors out there, feels like it all points to Fields being a Jet. Wasn’t my first choice for him, but he would have good talent with GW and Breece.

I don’t see that working out well for Fields. That team is a mess.

PIT was probably his best situation but they haven’t exactly been committed to him.

He SHOULD have gone to ATL. That was the perfect fit imo

If the Jets pony up the cash then they'll look like a nice destination.

I wonder if the Metcalf trade telegraphs Fields coming back. Fields needs some dudes who can go get the ball cause he's not exactly a surgeon with his timing and ball placement. Metcalf + Pickens can do that.

Yea, I don’t like the unstable nature of the franchise and don’t like the rookie OC for him. He tried that already here and it sucked for his career.

Don't be shocked if Mariota ends up being the Steelers starter. I believe he played for the Falcons when Arthur Smith was their H.C.
I will be. The guy has been in the league forever, hyped by many forever, and has never shown he is starter material.

I will honestly be shocked if a team goes into 2025 thinking Mariota would make a good starter.

Unfortunately for him, NFL means Not For Long. Grab as much money now and worry about team stability somewhere else. He better act as if this is his last bite at the apple.

When Mariota learned he was being benched in Atlanta by Smith, he quit for the season. Granted it was very late in the year but I’m pretty sure Smith hasn’t forgot that.

Could anyone tell the difference?
