I don't see how it's possible without being late for the Bears game. Hawks game will run from 11:40am-2:30pm. Bears game at 3pm. Time leaving the UC, traffic, and getting over to Soldier Field, parking, then walking. Will probably be late.

Just might need to leave early from the 'Hawks game to make kick off. Even though it is listed as 3 PM, the kick off is usually 7-10 min later, which buys some time. Leaving the UC around 2:15, should get us to Millenium park around 2:30-2:40, which is plenty of time to get on the shuttle to Soldier Field for kick off.

So? You're a little late? Big deal. Doesn't mean you can't go... if the game is over by 2:30 that gives you half hour in a cab to get you close enough to walk in. I see no problem. Opening kick off at 3:10... commercial.... first play 3:13.

I don't see how it's possible without being late is a very weak excuse.

Hun, don't you have to sit outside and be cold at the Bears game? That is reason enough to go to the Hawks.

I believe we were talking about going to both games on the same day.

Yeah and what if the Hawks game is a nailbiter? You gonna just walk out on that? It is a big deal.

I plan on going to both games, the game on the 16th will be a lot easier.

Yea 16th will be a lot easier timing wise, and I love those doubleheaders when there is a nice break between. The tough part is that we are flying back from Nashville (going to the game on Sat), Sunday morning and from Midway going straight to the Bears game...then the 'Hawks game afterward. Thank you gov't holiday's that I have Monday off to sleep and sober up.

Stay at the Hawks game and miss the kickoff...I DVR THE games even when I go to them.

Think he is talking about being late for the Bears game. Which I am more than prepared to do if the 'Hawks game is interesting. Honestly it will be like 3:13-3:15 before the first set of downs for the game begins.

I know but if he has to choose it should be a no brainer. Who would choose to be cold?

It's a playoff game, the last time they were in one was2006

It would be Bears-vs-Packers for the NFC Championship on 1/23. Provided both teams win this Sunday 1/16. So yeah 1/23 game would be a HUGE deal. But so is the rematch of the Hawks / Philly game on 1/23.

Someone could give me front row seats for the Super Bowl and I wouldn't use them.

I wouldn't use them either - I would sell them.

It may be faster taking the Blue Line that day from Illinois Medical District (NO ONE takes it, I swear.), transferring to the Red Line at Jackson, then going south and getting off at Roosevelt and walking the rest of the way. Why suggest this instead?
<
Cause you could find a good spot at Millenium Park before the Hawks game, not to mention you wouldn't have to worry about spending an extra $20 at the UC Parking lot.
<

You could still technically park at Millenium Park for the whole day and claim a good parking spot there to easily get the hell out of traffic there.
<
I don't see why not... You might have a better chance getting their faster with this method, but I don't know.

A very capital idea really. And a massive time saver when hoping between games.

It is a good idea but we want to change after the Hawks game - shed the Hawks jersey and put on the Bears jersey. Can't really do that if we're taking trains all over.
