OT: Some real life basketball

I belong to the Schaumburg YMCA and Lifetime fitness, and LTF is about 10x as nice.

I'm not sure if there is a LTF near you, but around me, LTF is doing a special where they are waiving the membership fee up front, and LTF is month to month. I believe they also charge only $40 a month if you're under 25.

I'm not sure that it's worth it to you to go to LTF instead of the Y, but the LTF by me has pick up basketball running constantly with tons of very good people playing and it's always crowded (good or bad depending on your view) with usually 1 full court game and 2 half court games.

The Y basically never has good pick up games when I go, the courts are filled with kids frequently. Every once in awhile I see some guys playing 5 on 5 or maybe 4 on 4 or 3 on 3, but it seems like it's a struggle to find players.

I am sure you guys had a blast playing. I really wanted to come and play but unfortunately my little one was really sick and I couldn't get out.

I was so looking forward to playing and I was soooooo ready to bounce back and have Rose type performance Oh well, maybe next time.

I got murdered EVERY TIME i drove into the lane! That said, i still shot like 30% from the 3pt line.

All in all though, it was still a blast. I just need to drop about 10-15 pounds and I'll be good to go.
